Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 September 2026

These terms cover registration for Nirmal Bang Malad Walkathon 7.0 (“the Event”) through this website. By paying you confirm that the details you submit are accurate, that you understand the physical nature of the Event, and that you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Event

The Event is scheduled for Sunday, 29 November 2026, with reporting at Sanjay Gandhi Playground, Malad East, Mumbai. Categories are 10K Run, 5K Walk, 3K Walk, 3K Saree Walk, and 3K or 5K Student Walk, at the price shown at checkout. The organisers may change the date, start time, venue or distance, and may close a category when it is full.

2. Who can take part

You take part at your own risk. You should be fit for the distance you choose and should take medical advice if you are unsure. The course may have traffic even where it is managed. Children under 10 should be accompanied by a guardian. Each person may be entered in one category.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay for Vision Sports Reconnect Private Limited, GSTIN 27AAECV8977E1ZR, A Wing, Office No. 312, Neelkanth Business Park, Nathani Road, Vidyavihar West, Mumbai. October prices apply until 31 October 2026. From 1 November 2026 the November price applies. The fee charged is the price in effect when the payment is created.

4. Bibs and race morning

  • Bibs and kits are issued before race day, in a window announced on WhatsApp or email. They are not issued at the start line and are not posted.
  • Collecting in person needs your registration acknowledgement and a valid age proof. Collecting for someone else also needs a signed authority letter and a photocopy of their ID.
  • School registrations collect through the school. Defence registrations collect through their office.
  • Bibs cannot be transferred. Swapping a bib can lead to disqualification.
  • Cut-off is 7:30 AM for the 10K, 5K, 3K and saree walk, and 8:00 AM for the student walks. After that you may be stopped for safety.
  • Follow instructions from officials on the day.

5. Timing, results and prizes

  • Where a category includes a timing chip, times are recorded electronically. A missing start or finish read can mean no official time and no e-certificate.
  • Finish order is by gun time. Results on race morning are provisional.
  • Prize winners may be asked for extra ID or age proof. Prizes are shared with winners after the event. E-certificates are online.
  • Appeals should be sent within 5 days of the race.

6. Risk

To the extent the law allows, you waive claims against the organisers, sponsors, officials, contractors and public authorities arising from illness, injury or other loss connected with taking part, including events outside anyone’s control. If you need emergency care, officials may arrange transport or treatment at your cost.

7. Photos and information

You allow the Event to use photographs taken on the day to promote this edition and future editions, and to share your registration details with parties who need them to deliver the Event.

For anything these terms do not cover, the organisers’ decision is final. Questions: maladwalkathon@gmail.com or WhatsApp 9320077500.
